1. Introduction — We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use AppLaunch Wizard, our macOS application and cloud services for App Store publishing and ASO optimization.

2. Data We Collect — Account Data: email address, name, and authentication credentials when you create an account. Project Data: app names, descriptions, keywords, screenshots, icons, and metadata you create within the application. Usage Data: feature usage patterns, generation counts, and session analytics. Payment Data: subscription status and billing identifiers (processed by Stripe; we never store full card numbers). Device Data: macOS version, app version, and device identifiers for license management.

3. How We Use Your Data — To provide and maintain our cloud sync, AI generation, and App Store Connect publishing services. To process payments and manage your subscription. To improve our AI models and generation quality through anonymized usage analytics. To communicate important service updates and respond to support requests.

4. AI-Generated Content — Content you generate (descriptions, keywords, screenshots, icons) is processed through third-party AI providers (OpenRouter, OpenAI). Prompts are sent to these providers for generation only and are not used for model training. Generated content belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your AI-generated assets.

5. Local Mode — AppLaunch Wizard supports fully local operation. When cloud sync is disabled, your project data stays exclusively on your Mac and is never transmitted to our servers.

6. Data Sharing — We share data only with: AI providers (OpenRouter) for content generation; Stripe for payment processing; App Store Connect when you explicitly publish; analytics services for anonymized usage data. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Data Security — We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls. API keys are stored locally on your device and transmitted only over encrypted connections.

8. Your Rights — You may: access, correct, or delete your personal data; export your projects at any time; close your account and request data deletion; opt out of analytics collection. Contact support@applaunchwizard.com for any data requests.

9. Data Retention — Account data is retained while your account is active. Project data is retained until you delete it. Usage analytics are retained for 24 months in anonymized form. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.

10. Cookies — Our website uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent. You may disable cookies in your browser settings.

11. Children's Privacy — AppLaunch Wizard is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

12. International Transfers — Your data may be processed in the European Union, United Kingdom, and United States. We ensure adequate protection through standard contractual clauses.

13. EEA/UK Users — Under GDPR, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal bases for processing are: contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent.
